Outcomes and survey research
If a measure misses what matters to patients, every analysis built on it inherits the gap.
I design, validate and analyse the measures that capture patients' experiences and outcomes, from questionnaires to expert consensus, and I bring patients' and clinicians' voices into the research.
What I can do for you
-
Design and validate questionnaires: item response theory, factor analysis, structural equation modelling
-
Analyse patient-reported and clinician-reported outcomes
-
Run Delphi consensus studies with clinical and patient panels
-
Design and analyse longitudinal and mixed-methods surveys
-
Co-produce research with patients, carers and clinicians
Track record
-
Running a Delphi consensus study for a patient-experience charity on immune challenges in a blood cancer
-
Analysed survey data from 367 bereaved parents for a university research team, combining latent class, factor and thematic analysis
-
Co-ran the Oxford ARC study of adolescent mental health: 1,800+ young people and parents followed through 20 survey waves during Covid lockdowns
-
Wrote a roadmap for psychosocial care in pregnancy after loss together with bereaved parents and clinicians; its recommendations informed clinical guidelines in Australia and New Zealand
